Visually the everyday materials of vegetables/food matter with the liquid luxurious glimmer of the pewter is intriguing. You seem to have poured on; pouring in, pushing in maybe another approach. How else can pewter be applied to a surface.
Mike - yes the pewter did pick it up but not well, I have kept it and can show you Karen - I have been thinking about that and using a male female form and maybe putting different textures within it like the Cabbage leaf. The reason for pouring over was so that I did not get a solid (paper weight!) but the heat was not transferred away quick enough so I does need rethinking.
did the pewter pick up the detail of the underside of the mushroom?
